Eligibility for LEAF Funds
LEAF Scholarships are available to LCA families whose size and adjusted gross income is below 350% of the Federal Poverty Level. Required documentation includes the first page of your most recent OH IT-1040.
LEAF is a local SGO committed to helping LCA families afford Christian education. During our first three years LEAF distributed $300,000 to LCA families through the Ohio Donation Tax Credit.
Ohio SGOs must award 51% of funds to families who fall below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level. The remainder (up to 49%) can be allocated for other purposes. LEAF will continue to direct 100% of its funds to families below 350% of the Federal Poverty Level.
As LCA’s Administration promotes a different SGO, LEAF remains committed to its mission; supporting LCA families. The future of LEAF – and continued assistance for LCA families – depends on donors who believe in keeping scholarship funds family focused.
We ask past donors to continue supporting LCA families by donating to LEAF through the Ohio Donation Tax Credit. We encourage LCA families who have received LEAF funds to learn how the Ohio Donation Tax Credit works and support LEAF with your tax dollars.
